About Us

Elim Church Romsey is an Elim Pentecostal Church based in the lovely Hampshire market town of Romsey. Romsey is located between Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester and it also sits neatly on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park. In addition to this it is just over half an hour from the wonderful South Coast beaches.

As a church we consist of people of all ages and backgrounds. You are more than welcome to come along and visit us any time you wish.

For information about our meetings and how to visit us please see the visitor information page.

The Elim Pentecostal Church, which we are a part of, has over 500 congregations throughout the towns and cities of the UK as well as churches in forty countries around the world. Formed in 1915 by a Welshman named George Jeffreys, the name Elim comes from the book of Exodus in the Bible, an oasis in the desert. Elim is a registered charity (251549 England & Wales).

More infomation about what we believe is cover in the "What we Believe" page.

Elim Church Romsey is also a member of the Association of Romsey Churches and of the Evangelical Alliance. As a Pentecostal Church, we are strongly founded on the teachings of the bible and our lives and our meetings are impacted by the work and presence of God through His Holy Spirit. We enjoy good times of praise and worship with our contemporary band and blend modern and traditional songs into this time.
